Pilot Projects

Implementation of the Basic Set

The implementation of the Basic Set of Biodiversity Criteria for the food sector ensures basic protection of biodiversity on agricultural land. It creates potential for more habitats and species and helps to prevent or reduce the negative impacts of agricultural practices on biodiversity.

In order to further develop the Basic Set, our member organizations have carried out pilot projects that test the implementation of the biodiversity criteria on farms. The documentation of these pilot projects focused on the implementation of biodiversity measures on farms to meet the requirements of the basic set – the objectives and successes.
