Strategy for the Roll-out of the Basic Set Temperate Regions

With the Roll-out Strategy, Food for Biodiversity provides a framework for putting the Basic Set Biodiversity Criteria into practice across agricultural supply chains. The strategy focuses on seven high-risk raw materials in temperate regions and defines a common approach for retailers, food and beverage producers, and standard-setting organisations.

It sets out how the Basic Set can be progressively integrated into sourcing requirements and certification schemes, combining a risk-based approach with measurable targets and collaboration along supply chains.
